Bones

Bones

I love the shape of bones, so I thought I'd paint one. I wanted it to be fairly abstract. Some people also see a nose. :)

They Were the Best of Times...

For years now, I have been neglecting my love of skulls because whenever I paint/draw/wear/think about skull people start thinking I'm depressed. Not the case at all! I'm coming out! I LOVE skulls. I think they are incredible and the most beautiful form of underlying architecture ever created. They are not to be seen as gross and morbid, but instead as beautiful and inspirational.

The Bowtie

The Bowtie

This skull turned out a little scarier than I wanted, but he's still fun. I used fun colors to inspire some light heartedness on what some people (not me) consider to be a dark topic.

One Race

One Race

I started drawing these guys in high school and one day in my late 20's I remembered them. To me they symbolize that we are all connected, maybe not literally at the knee caps, elbows, and heads, but a lot closer than everyone thinks. Spread the love! Oh geez... I can feel myself turning into a hippie. :)
